Still time to register for the LFA Educators Tour

Calling all educators! (Educator = anyone who interacts with children: formal teacher, non-formal educator, librarian, 4-H agent, FFA sponsor, Scout leader, natural resource professional, etc.). The Louisiana Forestry Association invites you to apply for the 2025 Educators Tour for Forestry.

The deadline is nearing; its Saturday, March 15! During the tour, participants will visit a logging site, a forest product mill and learn why trees are the No. 1 crop in our state. This event is being held April 15 adn 16, 2025 at the LA Ecological Forestry Center (the former Hodges Gardens) in Florien and is FREE to participants. You just need to get yourself there.
