Paper cups a good morning staple
In 1960, President Dwight D. Eisenhower signed a Congressional joint proclamation designating the third Sunday in October as the beginning of National Forest Products Week.
Much of rural America, especially in Louisiana, understands the importance forests products are to local economies. It remains the largest agricultural crop in the state, providing more than $13 billion to the state's economy. It employs 10s of thousands people in the state and provides essential products to people around the world.
