Northeast Forestry Forum set Jan. 12
A forestry forum held in conjunction with Ag Expo will be held from 8 a.m. to noon Jan. 12, 2024, at the West Monroe Convention Center, 901 Ridge Ave., West Monroe.
Featured speakers include Dr. Jinggang Guo, forest economist at LSU; Wood Johnson, entomologist for the USDA Forest Service and Jaesoon Hwang, plant pathologist for the Forest Service; Louisiana Forestry Association Executive Director Buck Vandersteen; Jay Hayek with Drax Biomass; and Dr. Andrea De Stefano of the Hill Farm Research Station.
Registration is $15 until Jan. 4. Registering after that date will cost $20.
