LLC sets webinar to help file for logger relief
Loggers can learn more about how to apply for aid with the federal Pandemic Assistance for Timber Harvesters and Haulers (PATHH) and the state Main Street Logger Relief Program in a webinar set up by the Louisiana Logging Council, and earn one CE credit. The webinar will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 23.
"This important Zoom meeting will help loggers and timber haulers to understand what is available to them to recover some the losses due to the pandemic in 2020," said Buck Vandersteen, LFA and LLC executive director. "This program offers loggers and timber haulers an opportunity to complete the application process and have any questions answered by administrators of the programs."
Loggers can register for the webinar online by clicking here.
The webinar will feature Lee Cater with the USDA Farm Service Agency at 6 p.m. talking about the PATHH program. Following that, Louisiana Treasurer John Schroder will talk about the state's Main Street Logger Relief Program at 6:35 p.m.
Each session will have a question and answer period following the presentation.
The webinar is free, but you must register to receive the CE credit.
