LDAF seeking arson suspect
A 32-year-old man is being sought by Louisiana Department of Agriculture and Forestry enforcement agents in connection with numerous wildfires on Olon Bankston Road in Kentwood, according to LDAF.
Four arrest warrants for John Grady Davidson were obtained by LDAF agents on May 2. On May 3, forestry agents and Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office deputies saw Davidson's vehicle on La. Highway 1054 near La. Highway 16 in Amite. According to an LDAF press release, Michael Warren of Loranger was driving the vehicle and was detained.
The release stated that Davidson was previously in the vehicle, but fled on foot along a dark roadway before the vehicle was stopped. Warren was found to have suspected methamphetamine and was taken into custody by TPSO deputies. As of May 6, Davison remained at-large.
Anyone with information where John Grady Davison can be found is asked to contact the Louisiana Office of Forestry at 225-925-4500 and ask to talk to LDAF enforcement agents.
LDAF advises that anyone accused of any crime is considered innocent until proven guilty.
