Free trapping workshop set

The Louisiana Department of Wildlife & Fisheries and the Louisiana Trappers and Alligator Hunters Association is offering five free trapping workshops in December, January and February, which is during the 2020-21 trapping season.

The dates and places of the workshops have been set; however, times and other details have not yet been set.

• Dec. 12 — Waddill Education Center in Baton Rouge

• Jan. 16 — Vermilionville Historic Village in Lafayette

• Jan. 23 — Woodworth Education Center in Woodworth.

• Feb. 6 — LDWF Field Office in Monroe

• Feb. 20 — US Fish & Wildlife Service Office in Lacombe
