Foresters sought for Shreveport, Center areas

Bird Forestry, a division of Advanced Ecology, wants to hire two foresters. The company, which has offices in Shreveport and Center, Texas, is accepting applications and resumes for the positions to be filled as soon as the right candidates are found.

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Assisting with the set-up and implementation of timber inventories;

• Assisting with the set-up and implementation of timber sales

• Inspecting timber harvesting activities to monitor contract compliance

• Marking timber

• Maintaining boundary lines
