Fla. Parishes Forestry Forum set Feb. 18

The Florida Parishes Forestry Forum will begin at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 18 at the University Center on the campus of Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond, 800 W. University Ave., Room 133.

"This year's theme is 'The New Normal' as we learn how to navigate in markets that are presently challenging our industry," according to a news release from the LSU AgCenter Extension Service. "We will be discussing topics that will address forestland investment and risk, ways to increase timber sales, how to use land management and cost-share programs so they can truly be an asset in your pocket and much more."
