Horace White Named Outstanding Tree Farmer

Horace H. White of Pineville is the 2011 Louisiana Outstanding Tree Farmer for his 95-acre tree farm located in Rapides Parish. The award was made during the annual convention of the Louisiana Forestry Association (LFA) Sept. 1 in Lake Charles.

Jesse Greer Named 2011 Outstanding Logger

The Louisiana Forestry Association (LFA) and the Louisiana Logging Council named Jesse Greer of K & J Logging as the 2011 Louisiana Outstanding Logger. The award was presented to the Sarepta logger Aug. 31 at the recent annual convention in Lake Charles.
