Log truck stolen from the Bossier City area

Louisiana Department of Agriculture and Forestry (LDAF) enforcement agents hope someone can help in in locating a log truck and trailer that was stolen in the Bossier City area recently, Commissioner Mike Strain, D.V.M., said.

LDAF enforcement agents said a 2016 Peterbilt truck with a 2016 Viking log trailer was stolen around 9 p.m. Nov. 15 from a truck stop at the intersection of I-220 and I -20 in Bossier City. The truck is orange in color with Louisiana License Plate No. J0146962. The trailer is black with LA Vin # 1V9PD422XGN062222. The truck and trailer is owned by MTS TRUCKING.

“If you witnessed suspicious activity around on Nov. 15 or have seen this truck and trailer, please contact our agents,” Strain said.

The Louisiana Forestry Association (LFA) is offering up to a $2,000 reward for information which leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible and the recovery of the log truck and trailer.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact LDAF Enforcement at (225) 925-4500 or the Louisiana Forestry Association at (318) 443-2558.
